The Pledge

Peace be upon you. Today, this is an issue that I would like to bring up upon my readers. For those who do solah, this is something we need to understand on. The meaning of our "du'a iftitah", an ayaat sometimes we will recite before we head onto "Al-Fatihah" or "The Opening".

The du'a is taken from chapter Al-An'am, verse 79 and 162 - 163. These are the translation.

Part 1 : Du'a iftitah ( 6:79 )

Part 2 : Du'a iftitah ( 6:162 - 163 )

"Our solah and prayers, our life and death, none other than for Allah....." ( 6:162 )

Let us think of how we have had direct our life before this. We may have forget of this pledge that we all made, as His servant. 

If we do not believe this pledge we have made, then what is the purpose of our life ? Ask ourselves.
